There is a light fanciful feel to this exhibition bringing together printmaking, sculpting, mixed media and pyrography ( burning images into wood). The artists all have a love for birds and for protecting the environment from which they come.

You may have seen Meeniyan starring in ABC TV’s Bed of Roses series. The picturesque township of Meeniyan, South Gippsland, is just 10 minutes from Leongatha and 1.5 hours from Melbourne. Take a Sunday drive or drop in on your way to or from a weekend at Wilsons Promontory. There’s a fantastic eatery called Moos at Meeniyan just across the road from the Gallery, and Koonwarra is just 10 minutes down the road.

I hope you can make it sometime over the next month. For a virtual tour click here
